| August 2021 | Start to watch the FT8 & FT4 data modes via the SDRUno & WSJT-X |
| August 2021 | Receive the RSGB paperwork and apply to Ofcom for the M7IBW call sign. |
| August 2021 | Take and pass the RSGB Foundation Examination. |
| July 2021 | Start training for my Eoundation Examination with Essex Ham. |
| June 2021 | This is the starting point for me with the purchase of a SDRPlay RSPdx Software Defined Radio and a Moonraker Skyscan Mobile Scanner Antenna. |
